Lease Takeover – The Yards at Old State (Upton Unit) – 1BR in 5BR/5.5BA

I’m transferring out of Penn State and unfortunately won’t be around next year, so I’m looking for someone to take over my lease for a private bedroom in a 5-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom Upton T7 Unit at The Yards at Old State. The lease runs from August... 2025 to July 2026. Rent is $889/month and includes water, trash removal, high-speed internet, full furnishings, and even a CATA bus pass.

You’ll be living with four respectful and friendly Penn State undergrads in a fully furnished, multi-level townhome. The room available is the largest in the house, featuring its own private bathroom and a massive walk-in closet. If you'd prefer a different setup, my current roommates are very easygoing and open to discussing a potential room swap.

The unit has in-unit laundry, a fully equipped kitchen, and access to multiple CATA bus stops right in the neighborhood — making getting to campus super easy. Community amenities include a resort-style pool, 24/7 gym, clubhouse, business center, and more.

This is a lease takeover, so you’ll sign directly with the property and I’ll be fully removed from the lease. This unit is also sold out and has a waitlist so you would be skipping the waitlist!
