Hello! I am a graduate student transferring out of Penn State in the summer and I’m looking for someone to take over my lease for 2025-2026 at The Villas (1335 Dreibelbis St) with the option to renew. Rent is $695 per... month excluding electric for a single room with private bathroom, which is far lower than anything the property is offering this year. You will be sharing a townhouse with two other people who each have their own single rooms with private bathrooms but you will each have your own individual lease. You do not have to move into my current unit - you may move into any space still available matching your preferences.

The area is quiet and conveniently situated next to Walmart, Sam’s Club, Dollar Tree, Goodwill, and the Nittany Mall, among other stores. Amenities include in-unit washer and dryer, dishwasher, community clubhouse, study room, fitness center and swimming pool. The place also comes fully furnished with wifi, bed, desk and a flat-screen TV, among other things. There are ample parking spots on-site. It is also super close to bus stops servicing the CC route that takes you to and from campus within 20 minutes. Your rent includes a bus pass that you can use on all CATA bus routes.

The management is very responsive, helpful and responsible, both in terms of maintenance requests and administrative messages/concerns. The community here consists of a good mixture of undergraduates, graduate students, and working professionals. I would have loved to stay with them for longer but unfortunately I am moving out of state.
